Send Your Camel to Bed Hosta O.S. (Sing)
- A sport of Midnight at the Oasis with reverse variegation and is quite different overall in leaf colors. Emerges two tones of green with chartreuse leaves and green centers. Where the colors meet creates another shade of green with some streaking. Each leaf color pattern varies greatly. By early summer leaves turn dark green with irregular green border with some streaking. By later summer the entire foliage is a dark green. Any new leaves during the growing season will start the same as early spring foliage. Slightly corrugated and of good substance. Lavender flowers top the clump in late July and first half of August. Matures 14 inches high and 22 inches wide. Original stock. A Hostas-store new registered introduction. Gary from Naylor Creek named ‘Hosta Midnight at the Oasis’ after the song. Mike, owner of Hostas-store named ‘Hosta Send Your Camel to Bed’ using the next verse from the same song. Original Stock. Zones 3-9.
- PS- Formely 'Hosta Sing Your Camel to Bed'. My error. I thought the words were "Sing". Recently registered with the updated correct "Send" version.
